Pinkberry sprouted in Rancho Palos Verdes!
Sunday, April 22, 2007

/dev/null So guess what? The hottest and latest Los Angeles craze has finally opened its doors in Rancho Palos Verdes! Pinkberry a frozen yogurt (tastes kind of like real yogurt) treat opened another location in the Peninsula shopping area (not the Palos Verdes Peninsula mall).

My jaw literally dropped when I was down in the shopping center to help my friend get some coffee at the local Starbucks. We decided to walk around instead of sitting outside because these days have been pretty chilly and windy. I also wanted to walk around and take a look at the shops. My friend say, "Whoa there's a Pinkberry here?" I couldn't believe it with my own eyes. The Pinkberry logo was there dead on at 12 o'clock. I couldn't believe it. I had to get some. My favorite is Green Tea with mochi (mochi is a hidden item that is not listed on their menu). I guess this yogurt tasty treat will be visited much often by Che.

I usually get a medium Green Tea with mochi as a topping. Nothing else. The original yogurt is a little bit too tart for my taste. Green tea has the green tea'ish flavor and it makes it a little bit sweeter, but has that yogurt tartness at the end. Mochi topping is not on the menu, its a 'hidden item' (try it next time). I can't eat most real fruits (I get an allergic reaction, you didn't know that? You should have read my other posting, shame on you). Sure they have cereal and chocolate chip toppings, but I like mine with mochi.
